Oregon Ducks Offense:

After only putting up 3 points on Georgia, in week 1, the Oregon Ducks had another big test, in week 3 against the BYU Cougars, who were coming off a win against the number 9 team in the country, in Baylor. The Oregon Ducks came out of the gate swinging, putting up 24 points in the first half, and 38 points in the first 3 quarters. Oregon Ducks quarterback Bo Nix was very efficient, completing 13 out of his 18 passing attempts, including having 3 passing touchdowns. Bo Nix looked very comfortable throwing in the pocket, which was not the case against Georgia. 9 of Oregon's receivers had at least one reception against BYU, including Troy Franklin, who had 3 receptions for 84 yards, with a very impressive 50 yard catch that led to an Oregon touchdown, and Terrance Ferguson who caught both of Oregon’s passing touchdowns. Bo Nix also showed his toughness in the red zone, having 3 rushing touchdowns, and fighting for extra yards while rushing. Outside of Bo Nix’s rushing, the Oregon rushing attack was excellent, having 2 rushers with over 65 yards, in Mar’Keise Irving, who had 97 yards, and Noah Whittington, who had 66 yards. The Oregon Ducks offensive line has definitely improved since their game against Georgia, which will be huge for the potential success of Oregon’s offense this season.
