The Los Angeles Chargers offensive line massively improved from the 2020 season to the 2021 season, but the Chargers still need help at guard. Zion Johnson is a player that could start right now, which is needed for the Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert. Zion Johnson has great strength and can over power defensive lineman, this is proven by Zion Johnson bench pressing 32 reps at the NFL combine, which was the most out of everyone who did the bench press at the NFL combine. Johnson uses his long arm to his advantage. Zion Johnson is very good in the run game as he closes gaps well, and is a good pull blocker. Johnson has grown as a pass protector over his 3 years at Boston College, and shows his good hand placement while pass protecting. Sometimes Zion Johnson can lose his balance. Even though Zion Johnson has played both tackle and guard in college, he cannot play tackle in the NFL as he is 6 foot 3 inches. Zion Johnson plays powerful and aggressive.

18. Philadelphia Eagles(via NO): Devonte Wyatt, IDL, Georgia

Combine/Pro Day:

40 Yard Dash- 4.77 seconds

Vertical Jump- 29 inches

The Philadelphia Eagles star defensive tackle, Fletcher Cox is 31 years old and is on a one year contract. Devonte Wyatt has shown his good flexibility and change of direction. Wyatt has good hand use, but they can still improve. Devonte Wyatt has good lateral mobility and is light on his feet. Wyatt is not an overly powerful player, but he could still win by using his bull rush move, but Wyatt also shows a good mix of other rush moves. Wyatt is a smart football player and usually takes the right angles in the run game. Against bigger offensive linemen, Devonte Wyatt struggles. Devonte Wyatt is good off the line of scrimmage and has a good first step. Wyatt has good pursuit and closing speed. Devonte Wyatt also has good balance and is barely off balance. Devonte Wyatt has shown good hand usage, even though they can improve. Wyatt does not have great length for the interior defensive line, standing at 6 foot 3 inches and weighing 304 pounds.

19. New Orleans Saints(via PHI): Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State

Combine:

40 Yard Dash- 4.39 seconds

Vertical Jump- 32 inches

Broad Jump- 124 inches

The New Orleans Saints have star wide receiver Michael Thomas, but he was injured for the whole entire 2021 NFL season, and the Saints passing game was very underwhelming. Even with Thomas, the Saints still need more at the receiver position. Chris Olave plays very fast and can sometimes win just solely based on his speed. Chris Olave is also a good route runner and can change his speed well, as well as having quick feet. Olave has great body control and ball skills, combined with his speed make him dangerous deep down the field. Olave averaged more than 15.5 yards per reception during his collegiate career. Even though Olave is fast, he is not great after the catch as he mainly uses his speed after the catch instead of moves. Olave has great hands. Olave does not have a great frame standing at 6 foot 1 inches and weighing 187 pounds. Olave lacks physicality, and in the NFL will struggle against bigger and more physical corners. Olave is good at making separation with his great agility, footwork and speed. Olave has a good release package and is good at making separation off of the line of scrimmage.

20. Pittsburgh Steelers: Malik Willis, QB, Liberty

Combine/Pro Day: N/A

The Pittsburgh Steelers starting quarterback, who had been on the Steelers for 18 years, Ben Roethlisberger retired during this NFL offseason. Malik Willis is very fast and has great mobility for the quarterback position. Willis also has great change of direction which added with his speed makes him a very dynamic runner. Malik Willis is very tough and is difficult to bring down in the open field. Malik Willis has great arm strength and velocity on his throws. Willis is a great leader, which is very important for the quarterback position. Willis sometimes tries to do what is more difficult than going for the easier option. Willis has made some mistakes that were easily avoidable. Even though Willis did not have good receivers this season, his accuracy was subpar. When Willis was getting pressured, he would often rather use his legs than look for an open receiver. Willis has a good release, but he can work on footwork and arm mechanics. Malik Willis has shown a lot of potential and has flashed in some situations, but Willis definitely still needs to be coached up.

21. New England Patriots: Andrew Booth Jr., CB, Clemson

There are injury concerns with Andrew Booth, as he missed some time during the college season, and suffered a sports hernia which made Booth miss the entire pre-draft process. Booth is sometimes over aggressive and at times could have a bad temper. Booth is an aggressive tackle, but he can mistime tackles at times. He also has trouble bringing players down when he has his hands on them. By using his physicality Booth is great in press coverage. Booth is also a very good player in man coverage. Booth is an amazing competitor and matches the culture Bill Belichick has built in New England.

Burks has good ball skills and body control. Treylon has long arms for the receiver position, at 33.50 inches, which makes his catch radius huge. Even though Burks does not have amazing speed which is evident based on his 4.55 second 40 yard dash, he is still great after the catch because of the array of moves he does after the catch and his amazing size. Burks is an alright route runner. Even though Burks is a bigger receiver, he is not great at blocking. Burks does not usually get caught at the line of scrimmage because of his strength. Separation may be an issue for Burks in the NFL as he does not have ideal speed for a wide receiver. Burks is a very versatile receiver as he can play in the slot, on the outside, or in the backfield.

Breece Hall has good explosiveness and good footwork. Hall has great vision, consistently realizing the right way to run. Breece Hall also has good ability to catch the ball out of the ballfield. Breece Hall is 5 foot 11 inches and weighs 217 pounds, which is well sized for the runner back position, but he is not powerful. Even though Hall has great vision, he is sometimes indecisive. Hall has a lot of patience in the backfield, which works well with his good footwork. Breece Hall has a problem with ball security, fumbling during important moments. Where Hall shines is in the second level with his speed is truly on display.
