New England Patriots Offense:

After coming off of a good offensive performance against the Lions, the New England Patriots had a better offensive performance in the following week against the Cleveland Browns. Rookie quarterback Bailey Zappe got more opportunities to throw the ball than the week prior against the Lions. Bailey Zappe had 309 yards, 2 touchdowns, and completed 24 out of his 34 passing attempts. Zappe did a great job finding and throwing to open receivers. 4 different Patriots receivers had over 60 yards, as Devante Parker had 4 receptions for 64 yards, Hunter Henry had 4 receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown, Jakobi Meyers had 4 receptions for 60 yards, and Jonnu Smith had 2 receptions for 61 yards. The Patriots also got good production out of rookie receiver Tyquan Thornton, as in his 2nd career NFL game, Thornton had 4 receptions for 37 yards and a touchdown. The run game was also pretty strong for New England, as Rhamondre Stevenson had 76 yards on 19 carries, with 2 touchdowns. Stevenson did a great job at getting yards after contact. Tyquan Thornton also performed well in the run game, as he had a 19 yard rushing touchdown. The Patriots offensive line did a good job protecting Bailey Zappe and creating holes for Rhamondre Stevenson.
